This March emerging artist Kerrie O’Connell will undertake her largest public installation to date; Ready, Steady, Global – is the world’s first global pedestrian traffic light that causes you to think twice before crossing.

Ready, Steady, Global is a free public art installation featuring contributions from filmmakers across the world. The installation explores lifestyles of different cultures undertaking the same activity together as one nation.

The event will be raising funds for ‘The Neglected Children Campaign’ from the children’s charity ‘Action for Children’. The pedestrian light features traffic crossings captured by emerging artists from Japan, America and India.

This aims to aid a performance that re-creates the anticipation we have when waiting at traffic lights. Ready Steady Global offers a free Cultural experience, a space to reflect and a performance engaging with pedestrians.
